SPRING/SUMMER LEAGUE 2010 INFORMATION |
- Spring/Summer League runs from April to the end of August. Teams rotate through weekday evening and weekend afternoon/evening ice times. No Friday, Saturday or Sunday games during July and August.
- Men's and women's divisions for novice to intermediate teams.
- Registration for the Spring/Summer League starts January 15/10. Existing teams have until February 1/10 to register. New teams can register after February 1/10 or request to be wait listed prior to this date.
- Individual players can register and will be assigned to existing or new teams if space is available. Registering via the Internet provides the necessary information to assign players to teams and the best opportunity to join a team. Players will be contacted by the league or a team manager ONLY if a position is available. Players must be 19 years or over to play in the DHL and DWHL.
- Games are played at Ice Sports North Shore, 2411 Mount Seymour Parkway, North Vancouver.
- 15 Regular Season games plus 2 playoff games for all teams.
- Games are 75 minutes with 3 stop-time periods.
- 2 referees and a timekeeper are provided for each game.
- Game schedules and statistics are posted on the league web site.
- Teams will be placed in the appropriate division for their overall skill level. The league may move teams to more suitable divisions during the season. Divisions will consist of 4 to 8 teams of similar skill.
- CARHA accident and liability insurance.
