1. All league members are covered by liability and accident insurance

LEAGUE FEES

1. TEAMS THAT DO NOT PAY THEIR LEAGUE FEES AS REQUIRED WILL BE IMMEDIATELY SUSPENDED FROM THE LEAGUE AND SUBJECT TO EXPULSION
2. Charges apply to returned cheques (See Appendix A)
3. No league fee refunds for teams or players. Individual players can request refunds from team managers. Team refund policy will apply
4. No league fee refunds for teams or players suspended or expelled from the league

THE DUFFERS HOCKEY LEAGUE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO FINAL DECISIONS REGARDING ANY MATTER CONCERNING LEAGUE RULES AND POLICIES

APPENDIX A:FINES AND CHARGES

1. Game default $50.00
2. Ineligible/uninsured player $100.00
3. Appeal $200.00
4. Returned cheque $20.00
5. Conflict jerseys:
   1. Rental cost per team per game $10.00
   2. Unreturned and damaged jerseys $35.00/each

APPENDIX B: SUSPENSIONS

1. 3 Game Ejections (due to multiple penalties) - 1 game
2. Misconduct - serves 10 minutes in the penalty box
3. Misconduct in last 10 minutes of game - 1 game
4. Major - 1 game
5. Game misconduct - 1 game
6. Gross Misconduct - 2 games
7. Fighting - 2 games
8. Leaving the penalty box during an altercation - 3 games
9. Goalie using a blocker in an altercation - 3 games
10. Playing, coaching or on the players bench while under suspension - suspension doubled/game defaulted
11. Check from behind (minor) - 1 game
12. Check from behind (major) - 3 games
13. Check from behind (major) causing injury - 5 games
14. Check to the head (minor), Auto Misconduct - see Misconducts, above
15. Check to head (major) - 3 games
16. Match - suspension length determined by league management
17. Any 3 penalties, or an accumulation of 6 penalty minutes - Game Ejection
18. Accidental high stick major - Ejected for balance of game, no further suspension
19. Team Major - The 4th minor (combo) stick, body or roughing infraction is a 5 minute team penalty. Players assessed a team penalty will not be ejected from the game unless their penalty total exceeds 6 minutes. This penalty cannot be shared with other players and is not subject to suspension
20. Referee's room - Players or coaches that enter the referee's room without permission are subject to a 3 game suspension
21. Team suspensions can be assessed at the League's discretion
